Kyle Garmany, Water and Agriculture Program Director for The Nature Conservancy-Texas, is responsible for advancing conservation strategies to protect working lands and the ecological integrity of Texas’ rivers, bays, and estuaries. His work includes the development of partnerships with agricultural producers designed to improve drought resilience while meeting environmental water demands. Prior to his tenure with TNC, Kyle worked as a hydrologist for the state of Texas primarily focusing on instream flows science, water policy and implementation of environmental water transactions. Kyle studied Hydrology at Humboldt State University, and Water Resources at Texas State University.
